We will recruit volunteers, register voters, and support these efforts efforts through social media, online advertisements, rallies, and other grassroots activities.

Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee voted on two articles of impeachment, paving the way for a floor vote next week. As expected, the vote was along party lines further proving the partisan nature of this process.

Democrats have used the impeachment proceedings as their political weapon to try and take down a duly elected President. The American people deserve better from their elected representatives.

This week, the entire House is expected to vote on impeachment. Be sure to call your representative and voice your opposition to impeachment!

  • Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants: This week, the House also passed H.R. 5038, Farm Workforce Modernization Act, which grants amnesty to nearly 1.5 million illegal aliens. Amnesty is the wrong policy—it only incentives more people to break our laws and come here illegally. Heritage Action is opposed to amnesty and we key voted against H.R. 5038. Check out our scorecard to see how your representative voted on amnesty.
  • Pelosi’s Socialist Drug Pricing Scheme: On Wednesday, the House passed H.R. 3, the so-called Lower Drug Prices Now Act. This bill introduces government price controls for prescription drugs that will hurt Americans waiting on the development of new, lifesaving drugs. We key voted NO on H.R. 3. See how your representative voted on our scorecard.
  • Defense Spending: The House also passed through the conference report for the National Defense Authorization Act, which authorizes funding for the military in 2020. Read our legislative endorsement of the NDAA conference report here. The Senate is expected to take up this legislation shortly.

USMCA is finally getting a vote in Congress. Share this graphic in support on Facebook and Twitter!

Next week is going to be a crucial week for activists. Congress is planning votes on impeachment, USMCA, and spending, all before they head into the Christmas recess.
