When it comes to taking action on climate change, Democrats are crushing it.
In the last year alone, we’ve passed three different pieces of legislation that are going to make a real difference in tackling the climate crisis.
The first, of course, is the Inflation Reduction Act. It’s the largest climate rescue investment in human history. It’s going to invest billions in solar and wind manufacturing, make it cheaper for families to upgrade their homes and vehicles to be more energy efficient, and reduce pollution in communities across America.
Next: the CHIPS and Science Act. This legislation will revitalize America’s semiconductor manufacturing, lower costs for consumers, and ensure we can continue tackling the climate crisis from every angle.
To top it off, we’ve got last year’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. Not only is this critical piece of legislation repairing our roads and bridges, it’s also investing in climate mitigation infrastructure, building an electric vehicle charging network, and boosting our clean energy economy.
So to sum it all up, that’s a triple whammy for climate change. How about that!
But folks, here’s the thing: we have to do more. Taking on the climate crisis is a generational challenge, and we need to continue doing whatever it takes to protect our planet. With our 50-50 Senate majority on the line this November, our progress is at stake, so we’re asking:
