Our country is a lauded destination for people across the world – but despite attractions, natural wonders, and history, visitors have chosen not to travel to the United States because they fear the daily gun violence we are all subjected to.
It’s not surprising, not when the reality of our country is so scary: There have been over 400 mass shootings this year alone and each day 111 people are shot and killed.
Despite the overwhelming need for action, assault weapons remain on our streets, the Supreme Court has made it possible for anyone to carry a concealed weapon anywhere, and expanded background check legislation is collecting dust in the Senate while people continue to die every day.
This does not have to be our country, {FirstName or 'Friend'}}. Not the country we offer to visitors and not the country we call home. Brady is fighting day in and day out to make this country a safe place, but if we’re going to accomplish that, we need your help.
