Hi John,
In the last couple of weeks alone our team of organizers and volunteers have set up 14 meetings with Members of Congress, including Speaker Pelosi, Leader Schumer, Sen Warren, Congresswoman Schakowsky, and more.
We’ve been able to delve into their policy positions on peace, diplomacy, travel, immigration, and domestic policy. Our members shared personal stories about the impact those policies have had on us, our friends, and families.
This work, speaking up to our elected officials and advocating for ourselves, is vital right now with so much at stake and little time heading into midterm elections. We’d also like to make this representation more accessible to you, your family, and other Iranian Americans in your community who want to get involved in advocacy.
The only way to stay in the loop and receive all of the invitations and updates for what we’re doing, including meeting with more Members of Congress, is to sign up for your local chapter’s email list. Don’t miss out on our next action and make your voice heard.
