These past few weeks have been…interesting to say the least. VICE News summed it up pretty well, though…


In all seriousness, what Republicans are doing should concern us all.

Any time something doesn't go their way, they threaten our democracy and attempt to delegitimize it. They did it with the 2020 elections, and have pushed countless pieces of anti-voter legislation on the local and state levels. They did it on the judicial level by overturning Roe v. Wade, allowing Republican-led state legislatures to enforce near total abortion bans.

If Republicans win the House and Senate majority in the midterm elections, they will continue to enact legislation that undermines the basics of our democracy. While their white supremacist agenda may have advanced with Trump, it certainly did not end with his presidency.

We're gearing up to do some major organizing in order to elect candidates dedicated to Black liberation. Whether it's phone banking, knocking on doors, or helping to run a GOTV event with fellow organizers, we need to have the resources to ensure that white-supremacist candidates don't advance in November.
