Wow! How is summer almost over already? We're (semi-reluctantly, semi-excitedly) getting ready to transition back into sweater-weather. But this also means more opportunities to stay inside and play some games!

Speaking of cooperatives: For a decade now, TESA has been working with people who have faced or are currently experiencing incarceration in order to build cooperatives. Often left with little access to job opportunities, cooperatives can provide alternative means to employment and housing. A few years ago, one of our worker-owners, Andrew Stachiw, wrote about the lessons he's learned from doing this work: Building the Worker Cooperative Movement Behind Prison Bars. Re-reading this piece now, these lessons remain vitally important today. We thought it was worth sharing once again.
