Dear Neighbor, I hope you are well! I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on several happenings in the district as well as Harrisburg.

NPD Loss

Over the weekend, Norristown Police Department tragically lost Cpl. Brian Kozera, a 16-year veteran who passed from injuries sustained in an off-duty accident. My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. 

In reading about his life, shared online from the NPD and lodge, Kozera was a devoted Police officer and a leading member of his community. He is survived by his wife and three daughters. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Food Drive Recap

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this successful food drive! All food, toiletries, and school supplies have been donated to Daily Bread Community Food Pantry and St. James Outreach house!

A big shoutout and THANK YOU to the municipalities (West Norriton, Upper Providence, Lower Providence, Collegeville, and Trappe) for being donation drop off points and getting the word out!

Senior Fair

The Senior Fair is almost a week away!

Please stop by on August 25th at the Thomas Paine UU Fellowship on 3424 Ridge Pike in Collegeville from 10AM to 2PM to learn and speak with available county and state senior programs.
