Hey team,

Another week, another exciting development for the Virgin Islands: this month, Stacey presented the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services a $42 million grant for the Head Start Program!

This funding will go towards the construction and restoration of facilities for the program throughout the territory, providing our low-income families better access to resources for infants and toddlers.

Many families face far too many hurdles to accessing the resources they need the most, like childcare and a high-quality education. The Head Start program helps these families break that cycle and gives their children a much better shot at success.

This new Head Start funding is just another example of Stacey’s constant commitment to supporting working families and strengthening our middle class. With our limited representation in the halls of power, it is so important that we do everything we can to keep sending a fighter like Stacey to Congress to speak up for us.
