Hey John, hope your week is off to a great start! We wanted to take a moment to share an update on our race.

After Lauren won one of the closest races in the nation in 2020, House Republicans named her a top target in their fight to reclaim the House majority this November. And last month, they officially threw their support behind our extreme right-wing opponent.

Since then, thousands of folks have stepped up and pitched in to help us build the strongest campaign possible. And thanks to your support, our team has been investing big time to break through the noise of right-wing attacks and make sure voters across the district know about the incredible progress Lauren has made over the last three-plus years (psst, she’s had nine pieces of legislation signed into law!).

It’s clear that our outreach has been working, John. Sabato's Crystal Ball recently upgraded our race from a “toss-up” to “leans Democrat,” meaning political pundits think we’ve got a good shot at protecting this seat.

For one of the first times in our race, our chances of winning have increased. Momentum is on our side, but as we’re sure you know, anything can change between now and Election Day. We can’t leave anything to chance.

If we’re going to keep this momentum going strong and win this race, then we can’t let our foot off the gas for even a second. We need to continue investing in our voter outreach program, keep our ads on the air, and share our positive message with voters across the district — and in order to do that, we’re counting on your support.
