Poll workers are on the frontlines of helping to ensure that our elections run smoothly, securely, and fairly. While legions of election deniers continue to undermine our democracy, these workers play a pivotal role in its survival.
To help prepare for the upcoming elections – where poll worker shortages are unfortunately expected – People For is proud to partner with our friends at Power the Polls to recruit for these positions.
Will you help us address our nation’s poll worker shortage? You can help protect the process of our democracy by signing up as a poll worker – and potentially get paid to do it.
Once you’ve signed up, depending on your jurisdiction, you will either be contacted by Power the Polls, a partner organization, or your local election administrators regarding your application.
The process to become a poll worker can sometimes be a bit complicated, but don’t worry: the Power the Polls team will help you along the way. In the coming weeks, Power the Polls will provide you with more information about the application process and what to expect when you become a poll worker.
By signing up to become a poll worker, you will help support early voting locations, ensure technology functions, and help minimize long lines and delays at polling places on election day – all crucial to safeguarding our elections.
