HAPPENING NOW: Fast-food workers turn it up at the California Capitol. Show you're with us >> [link removed]

John,

It's happened to me: I've worked graveyard shifts without so much as a 10 minute break. It's not right and now's our chance to re-write the rules so they work for US.

Fast-food workers from across California are converging at the State Capitol RIGHT NOW to demand AB 257, a landmark bill that will give us a voice and seat at the table. WE CAN'T BE IGNORED. SHARE THIS TO SHOW YOUR SOLIDARITY FOR WORKERS: [link removed]

AB257 will give workers a seat at the table to fight for fair pay and safer workplaces. We'll be able to hold fast-food corporations accountable for issues like dangerous working conditions, sexual harassment, wage theft, and more.

This bill gives us power. And if we can win here in California, we can show the whole country what real justice can look like. That's why we rolled out the sleeping bags and stayed overnight at the Capitol: to make our demands impossible to ignore.

California is home to more than half a million fast-food workers like me. I'm fighting for ALL of us who have been disrespected on the job. It's time for fast-food workers to get the dignity they deserve. We won't stop until we win: Speak out for workers! [link removed]

In solidarity,
