Possible closures to Heritage Park trails Aug. 29-Sept. 2
Scope & Impact: Upcoming construction work may close some pedestrian trails in Heritage Park. There may also be noise from heavy equipment.
Where: Northeast portion of Heritage Park (see map).
When: Aug. 29-Sept. 2, beginning at 7 a.m. each day.
Why: Construction work is taking place to mitigate potential flooding from Capitol Lake into Heritage Park and downtown Olympia.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is partnering with the City of Olympia Public Works for this effort.
