Paul LePage is a threat: to you, to Maine, and to democracy.

Last week, CNN named him as one of the gubernatorial candidates promoting dangerous conspiracy theories to voters. Then just days later, he used a campaign event to do just that – spreading blatant lies about voter fraud in Maine to advance his personal agenda.

Paul LePage can’t stop lying to Mainers, so it’s up to us to stop him instead. Can you help us keep his anti-democratic rhetoric out of the Blaine House? Pitch in $5 to our mid-month goals.

LePage wants to claim voter fraud because he can’t admit the truth: people don’t want to vote for him. Unlike Governor Mills, LePage has never won a majority of votes in a statewide election, so he’s getting ready to throw the results of November’s election into doubt if he falls short.

The right to vote in a free and fair election is an essential right for every U.S. citizen – in Maine and nationwide. While LePage spreads disinformation about our elections, the Maine Democratic Party is already doing crucial work through our Voter Protection Program to make sure every eligible Mainer can vote safely and securely this November.
