John,
Before I ask you to make a contribution to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, let me tell you why your support means so much at this moment.
Here's the truth:
Ron Johnson has been aggressively fundraising since he announced his reelection campaign at the start of this year. He has a well-established group of special-interest donors and corporate PACs who are giving the maximum allowed amount to support him.
On this campaign, we are doing things differently.
The way that this campaign is funded – and the way that we are going to beat Ron Johnson – is from over 100,000 grassroots donors who have given more than 200,000 contributions. That's remarkable, and I'm very proud of how we're building this campaign together.
While we have come very far in this race, our toughest days are still ahead. And we cannot underestimate what the Republican Party will throw our way in an effort to hold this seat. They've already booked tens of millions of dollars in advertising in Wisconsin, and that is only the beginning.
So we need to be ready, which means that today is one of those days when I need to ask you to chip in. How about it, John?
Please make a split donation to my and Trudy Busch Valentine's campaigns for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin and Missouri, and together we are going to defend our Senate majority.
Please know that I would not ask if your support was not so important to the success of our campaigns.
Thank you in advance for adding your contribution today.
All my best,
Mandela Barnes
