The FBI reportedly seized 11 sets of classified documents from Mar-a-Lago during last week's search. The newly unsealed warrants revealed that they were looking for documents relating to nuclear weapons that Trump took from the White House.
In addition to Espionage Act violations, Trump is under investigation for concealment, removal, or mutilation generally of government documents; and destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations.
Mar-a-Lago was searched only after Trump had failed to fully respond to requests for the documents numerous times before, and after he seemingly lied to the Justice Department about the documents.
Trump is a serious threat to our country, and if he is not held accountable, he’ll continue to ignore the rule of law. If convicted for these violations, he'll face fines and possibly imprisonment. It's time to hold him responsible for his actions.
