Onward to the general No images? Click here John, With primary election results certified, all of us at WCV want to thank you. Whether you voted, advocated for an environmental champion in your community, or took part in a Get-Out-The-Vote activity — our democracy is stronger because of you. Our work together was so beneficial that 97% of our endorsed candidates are moving on to the general election. It's up to you, WCV, and all of our neighbors to elect these environmental champions so 100% of remaining endorsed candidates win in November. And while the gains in the primary election represent opportunities, they are not wins. We have a lot of work to do between now and November 8, 2022. Now is the time to make a plan to vote as soon as you receive your ballot in October. After you make your plan, help a friend or neighbor make theirs. To defend and expand an environmental majority across Washington we need you involved to get out the vote. We know the threats are real: climate denial, voter suppression, anti-abortion views, big oil and corporations avoiding accountability as they poison our future--we deserve leaders on the side of people, democracy, and the environment. We have just 83 days until November 8th, the date of the general election. Local elections matter — whether it's electing ethical county auditors who oversee our democratic process or a state legislator promising to lead on climate and the environment. We must help elect leaders who will keep making important progress for people and our planet. In the coming the weeks, we'll be sharing ways to get involved and engage your friends and family in the general election. For now, if you're eligible, make sure your information is updated and you are registered to vote! We have so much work ahead of us and I know you're in for it!
