He is seeking to end the divisive identity politics that is strangling America. “The ideals of the American Revolution are being replaced by a Woke Cultural Revolution,” said Mansharamani. “They are tearing down statues of George Washington, teaching that America is irredeemably evil, and telling our kids they should pick their own gender. We need to take a stand and stop this nonsense.” Mansharamani went on to note how a diversity of ideas is critical to a well-functioning society, and the identity politics of the day is putting us on a path towards socialism. “We’ve moved from a focus on equality of opportunity for all towards a quest for equity of outcomes.” As reported by the Union Leader, Mansharamani used to teach a class at Harvard and was also being considered for a new professor position. After they found out that he was a Republican, Mansharamani was “canceled”. He was not reappointed to his teaching position and his name was withdrawn from consideration for the new position without his knowledge. In the ad, Mansharamani stands outside of the building at Harvard where he used to teach. “It’s true; I was canceled by Harvard,” Mansharamani says. “I used to teach here, in this very building, for five years.
