Healthy Streets LA is certified!

Friends,

Last month, the Healthy Streets LA campaign turned in over 100,000 signatures ([link removed]) from residents in every single council district in Los Angeles. The people demanded safer streets, protected bike lanes, and dedicated bus lanes.

Yesterday, the City Clerk certified our petition ([link removed]) .

Now, Healthy Streets LA ([link removed]) goes to City Council. The City Council has 20 days to decide whether to adopt our measure as an ordinance, or send it to the ballot to let the voters decide. We already know what voters want. That's why we need your help to get the city council to adopt us as an ordinance within the next two weeks.

MAKE PUBLIC COMMENT ([link removed])
Submit your written public comment to the council file using this toolkit ([link removed]) . You will also find instructions to email your council member and ask for their support adopting Healthy Streets LA as an ordinance.

We shouldn't have to wait until 2024 for safer streets!
