John,

Liz Cheney is no longer right wing enough for the Republican Party.

She voted with Donald Trump 93% of the time, was awful on most issues we all believe in, but she believes in democracy, and that's a step too far for today's Republican Party. So, instead, they nominated a confused, conspiracy-spouting dolt named Harriet Hageman (why do so many of their names sound made up?).

Hageman pushes the Big Lie, would've overturned the 2020 election for Trump and will try to steal future contests for Republicans. She believes women are baby containers belonging to the state, and a man entering a gun store talking to himself about shooting people should be able to buy an AR-15, no questions asked.

It ain't easy winning in Wyoming as a Democrat. But we've done it before, just a decade  ago Wyoming had a two-term Democratic Governor, Dave Freudenthal. In the past few years, we've elected Democratic Governors in Kentucky, Louisiana and Kansas, and Democratic Senators in Alabama, Montana and West Virginia. WE. CAN. WIN.

Our nominee, Lynnette Grey Bull (which sounds like a name perfect for Wyoming) won the Democratic primary overwhelmingly, and will have crossover support in the general election from the 1/3 of Republicans who rejected the insane Hageman.

Grey Bull is exactly the kind of candidate we MUST support for taking on this fight. She's an indigenous woman who'd bring much needed diversity to the House, a community advocate who's gone without health insurance. In short, she's a real person, not a Koch-ed up Republican benefitting from billionaire bribes.

Grey Bull has done the real work in Wyoming, as an environmentalist who testified before Congress to pass a bill to protect the Wyoming grizzly, an activist who fought for legislation to end child sex trafficking--which not only have Republicans ignored, but some (ahem, Matt Gaetz) have allegedly engaged in.

As Grey Bull says on her site:

We deserve to be represented by someone who looks like us, talks like us, and lives with us. We deserve to be represented by someone who will listen to everyone, seek justice and fairness, and bring everyone to the table to work together to solve our problems. If that's what you want, you belong in our movement.

Thank you as always for standing up for great candidates, and against autocratic conspiracy-mongers.

Cliff
