John,
Yesterday, I was honored to meet with maintenance workers of the Le Havre on the Water Co-op in Whitestone, Queens. Last week, I met with workers at the Beech Hills Co-op in Douglaston. Co-ops are a vital part of our community’s housing that could not function without the service of these union members.
I am proud to have the support of the members of 32BJ SEIU, the largest union representing property service workers in the United States. For the entirety of my government career, I have supported these essential workers and will continue to do so as the representative of NY-03.
Unions are critical to our economy, as well to the workers. Unions are at the forefront of improvements in health care, standards in the workplace and benefits that enable women to work. Unions help ensure workers and their families live in dignity and to uphold protections for workers enshrined in law and through collective bargaining. As your representative in Congress, I will continue to uplift these unions and ensure their voices are always heard.
With less than 6 days to go, our campaign needs all the support we can get. Please consider making a contribution today. Together, we can make real change happen for this country.
