Kitsap Public Health District lifted a no-contact advisory on Aug. 17 for the Silverdale Waterfront Park swimming beach.

The advisory was issued Aug. 4 [ [link removed] ] due to high bacteria levels in the water.

Water samples collected this week at Silverdale Waterfront Park showed Enterococci bacteria levels were below the state's advisory threshold, indicating a lower risk to human health. Warning signs will be removed from the beach.
