John, the dog days of August are almost over, and no, I don’t mean my dog Papi.

I thought I’d throw in a picture of the little ham, though, just to make your day. But, in all seriousness, we’re in the latter half of the year and nearing the end of August, and we need to hit our fundraising goal this week.

Since my team reached out yesterday, 10 of you have stepped up to help us reach our goal. We're getting so close, John, and Papi and I would so appreciate it if you were next.

I can’t wait to get to work for you, but first, we need to get over this hurdle together. I can’t get to Richmond without you, John. We only have $1,000 left to raise – can you help us get there with a $5 contribution tonight?
