[ [link removed] ]Parentless 16-Year-Old Hasn't Proven She's 'Mature' Enough for an
Abortion, Florida Judges Rule - VICE News
This ☝️ is why we fight, John.
In the weeks since the Dobbs decision, we’ve seen so many horrific
stories:
* A young girl who was forced to travel out of state for abortion care
after being raped — and powerful Republican politicians called her a
liar.
* Arthritis patients who were denied critical drugs because they can
also be used to terminate a pregnancy.
* Women who were left bleeding and in pain because doctors refused to
treat them for incomplete miscarriages.
* And now — a teenager who a judge decided was too immature for an
abortion but mature enough to become a parent.
Make it make sense.
If these stories have you feeling scared, crushed, or mad as hell: we are
with you. And in October, we’re marching again to make those feelings
heard.
We won’t go back, John, and we want as many feminist activists
as possible to join us in DC and across the country. Not only are we
marching, but we’re also planning a weekend of action and trainings to
empower women across the country to fight back.
We need YOUR help to start a travel fund so folks can get to where the
action is. [ [link removed] ]Power our movement — and our march — with a contribution
