Dear friend, 

 

As you know, my fundraising was from grassroots donors like you. 

 

We are seeing more and more independently wealthy and self-funding campaigns, and they have agendas. 

 

My agenda is always to work for the people. But fundraising has been slow. People are strapped in this economy.

 

We understand donations have been down in every campaign, so my team and I have been working every day, budgeting and stretching every dollar to reach every voter and supporter.  

 

I need your help, though, before I file my campaign FEC report. If I run again, I want to make sure my campaign is not in debt from running against 2 of the worst far-right extremists in Congress. 

 

I am tired of the corruption and arrogance of my opponents these past 4 years, Paul Gosar and David Schweikert. I worked my ass off these 4 years going around Arizona and talking with voters. I'm tired of the personal attacks and sly remarks. I need your help to defend myself against these attackers and far-right extremists. I need to send a message to my opponents that I still have my supporters on my side to ensure I do not have campaign debt and will be back to fight for democracy and our progressive values another day.
