At the end of this month, I face my first public fundraising deadline since fully launching my campaign for Wisconsin’s Seventh District. This means that the press and all my opponents will see how much I’ve raised and judge the viability of the movement we’ve been building.

It is crucial that we meet this goal. We are up against a lot in this race. The GOP machine has already funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into Tom Tiffany’s campaign, and now we have another potential Republican challenger on the ballot. They will be fully armed with mega-donors and special interests standing behind them. We can’t afford to not respond.

I’m running to represent WI-7 to make progress on issues like increasing access to affordable healthcare, quality education, and a good-paying job. And I will work to bring a big Wisconsin voice to Washington.

If we hit our goal, and can show that we’re bringing in gifts from grassroots donors like you, we’ll send a message that we’re the campaign to beat.
