Hi John,

I’m running for governor of Arizona.

After the 2020 General Election, my job as Secretary of State was simple: count every vote — even in the face of conspiracy theories, false attacks, and death threats.

Being in a situation like that, some would have you believe that you only have two choices — to fight or give in. But there’s a third option: Get. The. Job. Done.

I wasn’t about to give in, John, so I got to work to protect free and fair elections for the people of our state. Against all odds, in the middle of a pandemic, we proved that democracy works. But our work is just getting started.
