Jack, Texas will be hard to flip blue, in no small part because a state that huge requires an intense effort to organize front-line communities and get them engaged in the electoral process.
But we are on it, and Daily Kos members have already donated over $69,000 for this effort—helping seven grassroots organizations in Texas who are doing the hard work on the ground getting folks registered, teaching them their rights, and helping them cast their ballots.

At Daily Kos, we are dedicated to building progressive infrastructure in battleground states by supporting groups with strong relationships in communities that are difficult to reach. We are supporting seven groups in Texas who are doing the hard work of registering voters and getting them to the polls—from Black voters to Latino youth to the state's growing South Asian community.
How has your money made a difference? Check out these report backs from the groups.
JOLT Action—a statewide organization that mobilizes young Latino voters—more than tripled their number of registered voters in the 2nd quarter of 2022, and they are projected to double that number for the 3rd quarter—despite there being no active Texas elections in the summer.
Radical Registrars has expanded beyond San Antonio, and is now deputized in five counties (Texas law is very strict about who can register people to vote, and you must get deputized in each county.) They regularly register people to vote with felonies on their records, who are so grateful because they were told they can never vote again. They register many first-time voters, after convincing them they need to be able to make their own health-care decisions.
Workers Defense Action Fund has conducted paid and volunteer canvassing programs in Travis, Harris, Dallas, and Tarrant counties to target 120,000 high potential voters. They are building power and capacity for future elections by developing leaders through canvassing.
We know that Texas will take intensive efforts to mobilize front-line communities, and that's why we are in this for the long haul. Please donate $1 to each of these seven Texas organizations so they have the resources to get out the vote in 2022 and beyond.
