We’re in a recession. Amidst an ongoing supply chain crisis, sky-high inflation, and an outrageous job surplus, Americans are struggling just to make ends meet. 

The Democrats’ response? 

Shrink the economy more, kill thousands of jobs, impose more taxes, and worsen inflation in the long run. Last week, the Democrats forced a bill through the Senate that does just that. 

Countless economists found that the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” will not benefit our economy; even some Biden White House staffers agree. Prominent Democrats like Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer have conceded that hiking taxes during a recession is bad policy. Despite this, every Senate Democrat voted in favor of this bill, thrusting our economy into a downward spiral. 

John, at the end of the day, Americans making less than $400,000 a year will bear the brunt of this tax burden, and those making as little as $20,000 a year will be faced with higher taxes. 

This reckless piece of legislation is a prime example of why we must re-elect Ron Johnson. If we let far-left Mandela Barnes take his place, we are conceding one more vote in the Senate to the radical Democrats.
