We’ve been surging in the polls in recent weeks, friend.

As exciting as that is, make no mistake about it – JD’s billionaire backers and the Trump fundraising machine are painfully aware of our momentum, and their desperation makes them dangerous.

They’re going to lash out with ads to try and smear me and let loose every dirty trick in the book – you can bet dollars to doughnuts that they’re coming, and we’ve got to be ready.

This race could not possibly be any closer, friend – we’ve got momentum, but they’ve got nearly unlimited funds. If everyone reading this pitches in $5, split between me and Gary Peters, we could level the playing field. Can I count on you to chip in ASAP?

JD Vance and his corporate backers have been watching this race steadily tilt in our favor – a race they thought they had in the bag when we launched this campaign.

But we can’t get cocky, friend, because we’ve still got a heck of a lot of ground to cover before Election Day, and I don’t expect them to play fair when they’re backed into a corner.

This is no time to sugarcoat things – we need to keep the pressure on. Will you chip in $5 to my campaign and Gary Peters' to make sure we can respond to the GOP attacks that are coming our way? Flipping Ohio blue is one of our best chances to expand the Democratic Senate majority.
