There’s a lot to like about what we’re doing in the Senate right now.

The CHIPS Act made a huge investment in American innovation that will allow us to regain our place as a leader in the production of the technologies of today and tomorrow.

The recently passed Inflation Reduction Act is the single biggest investment in fighting climate change ever. And it’s going to cut the deficit and bring down the price of prescription medication.

And Senator Schumer says we’re going to have a vote on codifying marriage equality into law when we return in September. I’m very hopeful we’ll have the votes to pass it.

Our job isn’t done. I know that. Not with a Supreme Court willing to throw precedent out the window to roll back our rights. But our job also cannot be done unless we stay in the majority.
