I’ll try to keep this brief, John.

Midnight tonight marks the midway point of our current fundraising quarter, but as it stands, we are not quite halfway toward meeting our quarterly goal. We’re pacing a bit behind.

We have major spending planned in the coming weeks -- for TV ads, mailers, additional support staff, and materials for our weekly canvasses. We set our most ambitious goal yet to fully fund these efforts through Election Day. In a race as competitive as ours, it’s important that we don’t fall short.

If you haven’t donated recently, I hope you’ll consider chipping in $3 before midnight to help get us back on track to meet our third quarter fundraising goal.

Truth be told, fundraising has taken a back seat over the past few weeks. It’s been busy in Washington as Democrats work to advance our legislative agenda. Thanks to your support, we passed landmark legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS and Science Act -- historic pieces of legislation that will make a major difference for the American people.

The Republicans’ spin machine is already trying to muddy the waters with misleading claims about our bills. It’s happening in my race too, so getting the facts out about my record -- on both national and local issues -- is going to make all the difference. That’s where you come in:
