Team, after months of hard work to collect the signatures needed to get our 2022 campaigns on the November ballot, waiting for each campaign to be validated can feel like forever.
Months of knocking on doors, hosting events, gathering friends and family to sign petitions to power progress — all the excitement and energy that has gone into collecting the record-breaking number of signatures we have gathered this cycle to then have to wait a month or more for state officials to validate our campaigns for the ballot — believe us, we get the frustration.
Friend — Playing the waiting game is the least fun part of every election cycle, but this “waiting” means the democratic process is working . So while we wait, we don’t have to feel restless or frustrated, because there is still critical work we can do right now to ensure that these ballot measures win this November. [[link removed]]
As we speak, we’re setting up comprehensive state-level GOTV efforts to make sure voters in MI, VT, NE, AZ, SD, and CA know where to vote, when to vote, and how to vote. That’s the work we need support on now, team, and why I’m reaching out today.
This waiting game doesn’t have to feel so powerless, instead we can take action right now that will fuel our campaigns to victory. Will you contribute $5 towards our GOTV prep while we wait for each of our campaigns to certify for the November ballot, team? [[link removed]]
CONTRIBUTE $5 → [[link removed]]Thanks for your early support, friend! Stay tuned … go time for these campaigns is right around the corner.
