John – We’re down to the final week of GOTV for the last BNC primaries of 2022, and there’s still time to make an impact.
And frankly, we need all hands on deck right now – because our candidates are under attack.
In NY-16, BNC Rep. Jamaal Bowman is facing racist attacks from two of his Democratic opponents in his first reelection campaign. We shared some of those details in yesterday’s BNC Insider newsletter and will share more information soon. And just like what happened to Cori Bush recently, the long-time incumbent that Jamaal defeated in 2020 has endorsed one of those opponents.
BNC’s Melanie D’Arrigo is polling neck and neck with all the men running in NY-03. So a crypto-billionaire decided to dump $500K in TV ads to promote one of her conservative opponents – someone who literally registered as a Democrat for the first time in his life just to run for this open seat.
In NY-11, BNC’s Brittany Ramos DeBarros is also up against a corporate-funded conservative Democrat, the former incumbent who lost this seat in 2020 to a Trump-supporting insurrectionist.
Next week’s primary in New York and Florida is the last opportunity to make a major impact on the 2022 midterms for progressives. We have three BNC representatives on the ballot and two bold challengers seeking to join them in Congress.
This could redefine progressive power in Congress beginning in 2023. Can you help us get out the vote with a contribution of $25 or $50 today? [[link removed]]

Another way to help is by signing up to volunteer. You can phonebank, send texts, or if you’re in the area, even volunteer in person for AOC, Jamaal Bowman, Melanie D’Arrigo, Brittany Ramos DeBarros, and Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick.

Last week’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act is proof that progressive power in Congress is making an impact, but we have a long, long, LONG way to go, and we can’t let up now.
We need to make sure these bold progressive fighters each win their primaries on Tuesday to grow our voting power in Congress and push for legislation that will actually save lives and address the climate crisis.
Pitch in now with a contribution of $100, $50, or even $25 to win these seats and keep fighting for progress. [[link removed]]

Since 2016 BNC has led the way in advancing popular policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. We invest EARLY to help grassroots candidates succeed. We recruited and elected AOC in 2018 and Cori Bush in 2020 alongside Jamaal Bowman and Rashida Tliab. And we have our first win of 2022: Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick won her primary by FIVE votes thanks to BNC.
We have elections from now until November, and our candidates are counting on your support. Pitch in today and join us as we take over Congress and return power to the people.
