I know I’ve asked a lot this year. But we have a rare opportunity to elect a new Republican Congressman from California. We may never have this opportunity again. And there is so much at stake for our country.
Thanks to 15,384 citizen donations, we won the June primary in a more resounding fashion than anyone thought possible. So far for the general election, we’ve received 2,904 donations.
It’s 107 degrees today in Sacramento. That pretty much matches the heat we’ve taken lately. In just the last week we’ve been hit with 6 smears pieces from the Bee and vicious press releases from the DCCC.
When you are taking heat, you’re over the target. You are striking fear in the hearts of the powerful. You’re making the corrupt fear the jig might soon be up.
As we speak, our opponents are filming attack ads with the most outrageous lies you can imagine. In the primary, their tactics didn’t work because we had the resources to fight back. We aired our own TV ads about how I’ve led the fight against Newsom’s mandates. The truth won out.
But the job is only half done, and if we let the Democrats’ attacks go unanswered now, it could all be for naught.
Our opponent Kermit is a Gavin Newsom crony: his main line of attack against us is that we shouldn’t have tried to recall Newsom. He seems to think Newsom is doing a great job.
Having Kermit in Congress would be Newsom’s dream come true. He’d tell America what a wonderful leader Newsom has been for California. He’d keep the Speaker’s gavel in Pelosi’s hands. He’d be perfectly placed to promote Newsom’s presidential bid. You can help make sure that doesn’t happen with a contribution today.
Having me in Congress will be Newsom’s worst nightmare. We’ll warn the nation about what he’s done to our beautiful state. We’ll make sure he and his allies don't do the same thing to our country. We'll stop Newsom 2024 in its tracks.
Our opponents know this is about more than one seat in the House. It’s about whether an entire citizens movement
will be brought to bear on the corruption of Washington, D.C.
We’ve been through so much together, we’ve fought so many battles, we’ve won so many important victories – and I truly believe the biggest ones are yet to come.
