There’s so much I love about going from town to town making stops on the campaign trail: going to ice cream shops I’ve never been to and taking in the natural beauty of our country.

But my favorite thing by far is getting to meet folks, and talk to them one on one about what’s going on in their lives. I want to hear how they’re feeling; how is their mother’s health, how their job is going, what’s going on in their community, and whether their kids’ school has what it needs. I’m grateful for every moment.

And I want to hear from you too. So let’s grab a bite to eat!

At my dinner table growing up, that was where we got together every night to talk...about big things and little things, about our days, about our plans for the future, about what was going on in town and around the neighborhood.
