NDP

I am too, but not for the reason you think. //

John,

I’m not very superstitious. I don’t read my horoscope, I don’t worry about walking under ladders, and I routinely open umbrellas indoors. So when Friday the 13th comes around, I’m not usually worried about a day of bad luck.

But today, I am a little worried – because we’re nearly halfway through December and we still have a ways to go to reach our end-of-year fundraising target. And with a minority government and millions of Canadians counting on us, this target isn’t something we can afford to leave to chance. Will you chip in $3 now and help us stay on track?

Chip in!

John, in the short time since the election, Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has made it clear why we need our NDP Team to be strong and election ready going into 2020. They’ve said a lot of nice words, but promised no concrete action on the things Canadians have been clear they want – like dental care or real action to fight the climate crisis.

Luckily, we have the opportunity to show we’re strong and build on the surge of support and energy we’re still feeling from the campaign.

So today, if you want to change your luck, don’t worry about horseshoes and four leaf clovers – chip in $3 to support our team and make sure they’re ready to hit the ground running in 2020.

Have a great day!

What's the deal with the tax credit?

Donations to the NDP are eligible for a generous tax credit which means you get to help us fight for what people need and get a nice big return at tax time – it's win-win!

You get 75% of the first $400 you give. So at the end of the day, you spend $100 – but our team can invest $400 to build on our campaign momentum, stand up for everyday Canadians, and start 2020 strong and ready for anything.

Donate before December 31 and get the max out of your tax return.
