Hi John,

I’m Enid Santiago, the New Pennsylvania Project’s new Director of Organizing!

As a proud LGBTQ Latina leader who went from delivering newspapers to managing multi-million dollar corporate budgets, running for office, and co-founding an award-winning nonprofit to support women in re-entry, the work I am most proud of is my community leadership and advocacy for equity across all spectrums.

That’s why I couldn’t be more honored or excited to join the team here at the New Pennsylvania Project and help expand the Commonwealth’s electorate to reflect our demographically changing population.

John, fixing our representation crisis is crucial to protecting our democracy and ensuring marginalized communities are represented and served by our government. The way we make that happen is through organizing — and a lot of it. Will you chip in $10 right now to help me take the New Pennsylvania Project’s organizing team to the next level?

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
