John, I am fiercely proud to represent Delaware in the United States Senate. I love my state – from our pristine beaches in Sussex County to the vibrant City of Wilmington in the northern part of our state - and the beautiful farmland and neighborhoods in between. But I know that some folks who aren't from here may overlook a state like ours.
Sure, we don’t take up a lot of the map. We don't have a major league sports team, and we, thankfully, rarely make national headlines for something outlandish.
But we have an incredible legacy of electing progressive leaders who impact the future of our entire nation – including President Joe Biden! And as one of those leaders privileged to serve, I'm proud to have moved my state and country forward:
➡️ I have fought for the future of our planet, been a friend to our national parks, and done what I can to make sure we meet the demands of the climate crisis we are in.
➡️ I have made bold change by supporting marriage equality, advocating for our right to an abortion, and championing the Affordable Care Act.
➡️ I have defended our democracy by fighting to ensure that every American has representation in Congress, calling out corruption whenever I see it, and fiercely advocating for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
So yes, a grassroots investment in my race in my state may feel small to you. But together, we can have a BIG impact on the future of our country. It doesn't always take a huge investment to create a significant impact!
That's why I'm asking: Will you please chip in $5 before tonight's 11:59 p.m. deadline to send me back to Washington so that I can defend our Senate majority and keep on fighting for the Democratic values that we share?

Thank you for having my back in this fight.
– Tom
