Congratulations to Ali-Asghar, Maria and Nia Malika on being selected! After much anticipation, the lab commences this week.
Dear John,

Ali-Asghar Abedi. Maria Warith-Wade. Nia Malika Dixon. This week, we are kicking off a virtual lab with these three talented screenwriters where they will develop their scripts with producers actively looking for projects to add to their slate.

Earlier this year, we at the MPAC® Hollywood Bureau put our heads together with the creative minds at Endless Media to launch a TV Screenwriting Lab competition, calling on Muslim writers with at least one television writing credit to apply. We were moved by the caliber of submissions which ranged from drama to comedy.

We're thrilled to work with our friends at Endless Media in providing opportunities for mid-career writers as they work to take their skills and talents to the next level.

It is with your support that we continue to provide opportunities for Muslim talent who are working hard in changing the narrative in the entertainment industry. Thank you for your ongoing support.
