Jamaal is a key progressive leader in the House, championing a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and policies that protect working people — and he refuses to compromise on those values.

But corporate PACs and the authoritarian right, like the forces who defeated Jessica Cisneros in Texas and Andy Levin in Michigan, are working to defeat Jamaal and undo the progress fought so hard for by so many of us.

Jamaal is one of the only educators and only former school principal in Congress — he has a lifetime of experience advocating for children and the most vulnerable so no one is left behind. We need to keep representatives in Congress who are compassionate advocates for the needs of the people — like Jamaal.

That’s why National Nurses United is teaming up with the New York State Nurses Association to support Jamaal Bowman in his reelection on August 23.
