This summer, we've made a lot of progress, John!

Today, after it passed in the Senate with Chris's vote, President Biden is signing the Inflation Reduction Act into law! After months of negotiation, this crucial piece of legislation will start making a difference in Americans’ lives.

Chris is excited for the bill to help fight the climate crisis and lower costs for working families across the board. That's not the only major piece of legislation Chris helped pass this summer, however.

Chris and his colleagues also worked together to pass the biggest veterans' health bill in a generation. It will provide veterans' health care and relief to those exposed to burn pits during their service in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere. The American people have a sacred bond with our service members. Chris believes we must maintain that bond when they serve abroad and especially when they return home.

To further support our American economy, Chris worked across the aisle to pass a big, bipartisan bill to bring advanced manufacturing back to our country. This bill will allow us to continue competing with China and create countless jobs that will create income for thousands of families.

That’s a lot of successes, but there's still so much left to do. We've made progress as a country in just a few months, and Chris is ready to keep the momentum going.
