Then: Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick joined House GOP members on stage at a press conference where they defended Trump’s potential crimes and berated men and women in law enforcement for doing their jobs.

Now: Fitzpatrick is publicly undermining his former FBI colleagues in the press by questioning the integrity of the investigation. With threats to law enforcement members skyrocketing over the past few days alone, it’s reckless and flat-out dangerous.
