Nancy Daubenberger appointed EQB Chair
EQB Chair Nancy Daubenberger
The Environmental Quality Board (EQB) is announcing the appointment of a new Board Chair. On Friday, August 5, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan appointed Nancy Daubenberger to the Chair role. Chair Daubenberger is the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation and has served on the Board since February 2022.

Minnesota's Pollinator Action Framework
The?Interagency Pollinator Protection Team (IPPT) is developing an action framework to help pollinators in Minnesota. The framework is a set of recommended actions to help pollinators over the long term. These recommendations will include state-led actions and actions members of the public can do.
Visit our engagement platform [ [link removed] ] where you can share your ideas for action with the IPPT, and vote for the ideas you think should be prioritized.
*The IPPT will consider the ideas submitted by August 31 and release a draft of the framework by December 1.*

CSAH 6 Flood Improvement Project

*Project description:*?The County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 6 Flood Improvement Project seeks to resolve roadway flooding issues along CSAH 6 and CSAH 5. Flooding along the Minnesota River in the project location is occurring more frequently and for a longer duration. Through a combination of grade raising, culvert work, and road reconstruction, the project will address the current flooding issues.

Robinson Sod Farm

*Project description:*?The Robinson Sod Farm project is a proposed low, medium, and high density residential development on an existing 158-acre agricultural area in the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota. Two site plan alternatives have been developed for the project: PUD Concept Plan ? The PUD concept plan is expected to consist of 557 dwelling units of the following types: 242 single family detached homes and 315 townhomes. Yield Plan ? The yield plan, considered close to the maximum density allowed under future year 2040 land use plans, is expected to consist of 707 dwelling units of the following types: 263 single family detached homes,?164 townhomes, and 280 multi-family units. The project is located to the southeast of Sunset Avenue and 125th Ave NE/Main Street (CSAH 14). The project will include new roads, stormwater features, and the installation of municipal sewer and water systems.

*Project description:*?The AUAR study area encompasses 115.6 acres on two existing tax parcels, located north of 225th Street and west of Flagstaff Avenue in Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota . Three development scenarios are proposed to be evaluated in the AUAR; Scenario 1, Scenario 2, and Scenario 3. Scenario 1 includes six buildings for a total of 997,400 square feet of proposed industrial development, Figure 1. Scenario 2 includes seven buildings for a total of 1,259,400 square feet of proposed industrial development, Figure 2. Scenario 3 includes three buildings for a total of 563,000 square feet of proposed industrial development.
