In April, Governor Whitmer filed a lawsuit against the Michigan Supreme Court to ensure Michigan’s 1931 Draconian abortion ban law wouldn’t go into effect. Then earlier this month, she took immediate action to prevent county prosecutors from enforcing the same ban.

Abortion is safe and legal in Michigan thanks to Governor Whitmer, but Republicans have made it clear that they won’t stop trying to restrict choice.

Governor Whitmer is running a battleground race against her Trump-endorsed, anti-choice opponent Tudor Dixon who plans to enact a total abortion ban if elected. Not to mention Dixon is backed by millions of dollars from special interests and the DeVos family.
