This resource encourages students to consider the economic choices that people make every day. It covers the role of individuals, government, and economic principles in creating a free society.

BRI lesson plans and activities are paired with videos from the Hoover Institution to provide a rich, blended learning experience for students.

This resource is designed for 8th-11th graders and features differentiated learning that will allow teachers to present the information in appropriate ways depending on their students’ level. This scaffolding will also be useful for ELL teachers. This resource can be used in economics, government, and financial literacy classes.
