- Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team were hard at work in the first full week back in Parliament of this new mandate.
- The first order of business? Moving forward with our plan to cut taxes for everyone but the wealthiest – which will benefit nearly 20 million Canadians.

- Chrystia Freeland signed an agreement on amendments to the new NAFTA, which will preserve and create jobs for people, help businesses grow, and protect the environment.

- The Liberal government’s new Parliamentary Secretaries were appointed, and new mandate letters were released for the new Liberal cabinet.

- Andrew Scheer announced his intention to resign as Leader of the Conservative Party.
