About 30 years ago, I was a little younger, a little less gray, and was a young lieutenant.
My tank was Bravo 21. My gunner was a young man named Sayed - the best gunner in our platoon.
We were preparing to fight the Soviets during the Cold War and had just finished a training run.
Remarkably, we had just hit two consecutive moving targets at a distance of little more than a mile.
After accomplishing this remarkable feat, Sayed turned to me and said “Lieutenant, America is awesome”.

My time in uniform taught me many things - but what stuck with me the most was just what Sayed said - America is awesome.
That’s why I’m upset. I’m upset that the Democrats don’t accept this basic truth.
Instead, they broadcast the lie that America is inherently evil and suggest our founding values must be cast aside.
As a fellow patriot, I know this angers you too. That’s why I’m asking you to help me put an end to the anti-American agenda of the Democrats in Congress.
