Tell Mars and Hostess: Get titanium dioxide out of our food!
TAKE ACTION

Friend –
Over 3,000 different products contain DNA-damaging titanium dioxide! Here’s why that should worry you:
1. The European Union has banned titanium dioxide from use in food, based on a review of the scientific literature on the food additive.
2. The FDA hasn’t meaningfully reviewed titanium dioxide since 1966. Since then, studies have shown that the food additive could cause endocrine disruption, immunotoxicity, neurotoxicity and a greater risk of cancer.
3. Children are at higher risk of carcinogenic and chromosomal damage from titanium dioxide, since the chemical can build up in the bloodstream over time.
The bottom line: Titanium dioxide is linked to serious health concerns, U.S. regulations are dangerously out of date, and we need you to take action today to force Mars and Hostess to rid their products of titanium dioxide. But I don’t see your name:

Although dangerous food additives like titanium dioxide and potassium bromate are becoming standbys for multi-billion-dollar candy companies like Mars and Hostess, people are already fighting back. A new class-action lawsuit targets Mars for posing “a significant health risk to unsuspecting consumers.” Will you add your name today to join the growing chorus of voices fighting against health-harming food additives like titanium dioxide?
