Yesterday's election results in the UK were shocking.

The Conversative Party won a majority in Parliament — the largest majority since 1987. Their campaign focused on Brexit, which would see the withdrawl of the UK from the European Union. It's a "Make Britain Great Again" message that hopes to turn back the clock to a "better time" in history.

Sound familiar?

Im America, we learned the power of this rhetoric in 2016. And we saw what it could lead to on a national scale — Muslim bans, children in cages, a border wall. We can't allow this trend to continue.
