Hi John,

I’m running for Congress because I want to fight for our common good in Washington. And to be honest with you, this is a fight we can’t afford to lose. Which is why when I saw my opponent financing his campaign with nearly $1,000,000 of his own wealth, I became worried.

It’s going to take the full strength of our grassroots team to fight back against corporate executive Jeremy Shaffer’s personal fortune, so will you chip in before the clock strikes midnight tomorrow night? $10 or $15 might not seem like enough to make a difference, but if we all work together, we will hit our $5,000 goal before time runs out.

Thank you for being on my team,

Chris
